How can I share my spaces with others?
You can share a space by opening your Space Settings and selecting the ‘Share Space’ button. A sharing link will be generated, which you can then provide to those you'd like to collaborate with. When they click the link, they can request to join the space. After approving the request, you can choose the access rights for that person. More information is provided in our documentation.
What is a global network name?
Your name is a unique asset that nobody can take from you. Think of it like a handle or a domain in the Anytype network. The name is reserved for you for your Membership period and cannot be changed.
What is the difference between Viewers and Editors?
As a Space Owner, you can invite guests to your Spaces as either Viewers or Editors. Viewers have permissions only to view, and not to change, Objects in your Space. Editors have permissions to change all Objects and Widgets within a shared space. Nobody except the Owner can add or remove others from the space.
How can I remove guests from my shared spaces?
You can remove guests from your shared spaces at any time by navigating to your Space Settings Menu > Manage sharing, and selecting whom you would like to remove.
Do you offer special plans for students?
Students can receive a 50% discount for a membership plan. To get your coupon code, write to us at [email protected] from your student email address.
Which platforms currently support payments for membership?
It’s possible to purchase a membership plan via the Desktop app and on mobile platforms iOS and Android.
What are your accepted payment methods?
All major credit cards are accepted. If you purchase your membership from the Desktop app, the payment will be processed via Stripe in USD. If you purchase your membership from the iOS or Android apps, your payment will be processed by the App Store or Play Store, and prices will be automatically adjusted to your local currency by the respective platform.
Where can I see my billing history?
You can see your billing history by visiting the platform where you originally made your Membership payment (Stripe or in the future, App Store or Google Play).
Can I change my payment method?
Yes - you can update your payment method using either Stripe or the App Store or Google Play, where you originally made your Membership payment.
What if I exceed my storage and sync limits?
If you exceed the storage and sync limits included in your membership plan, the content which exceeds this limit will stop syncing to the devices of Space guests. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you would like to top-up your limits.
What if I self-host my own network? Will these membership fees still apply?
You can self-host your own network and manage limits in this network via configuration; no membership is required for this. If you would simply like to support our mission, you can make any donation amount using the donation link above.
What happens to my name and my spaces if I cancel or don’t renew my membership?
There will be a one-month grace period after which the network names will be released.
What if I want to add additional guests or storage to my Space?
We will be rolling out top-up plans for space guests and storage space - in the meantime, please write to us at [email protected] for a custom pricing plan.
How can I request a refund?
Partial refunds can be granted if they are requested within 14 days of the membership purchase or renewal date. Please reach out to us at [email protected] with your refund request. Our full refund policy can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
